energy management of this build
energy management, is a problem for me in this build
http://www.gwpvx.com/Build:Me/E_Wastrel's_Panic
any suggestions please, it does an amazing job, but i kind of wish i had assassins promise.. but you can see the problem of removing elit.
its as almost as tho energy takes away from this build unless i change secondary class that complements without ruining.

Take power drain and don't miss with it Could swap out GOLE for sig of corruption and chuck in necrosis for single target spam dmg.
Other than GOLE or P-Drain prob not many useful e-management skills. WNWT maybe or Auspicious incantation with deep freeze

Maybe take out one of the Wastrel spells for Cry of Frustration or something else. Arcane Conundrum for very foe heavy areas with signets Tryptophan Signet, Signet of Clumsiness, or Signet of Weariness. Air of Superiority can make up for having 8+1 fast casting instead of higher sometimes. Leech Signet or Power Drain... Inspired Hex for Frostmaw's Burrows.
Have 50 or more energy?

That's a mediocre build, no idea why they put it as 'meta'. Panic, Mistrust,Complicate, CoF, Power Drain, CoP + 2 optionals.

The wastrels spams are a bit fail. Mistrust is very pro AoE damage and it fits in with the recharges.
PB is a bit pointless unless you're looking to rupt outside of Panic. And by then, you would have regained energy to use other skills again.

If you want to wastrels spam, you need channeling, you need to channel-tank out in front, and you need a good number of foes. Since the last condition is the only time panic is ever good, putting them together in one build isn't a terrible idea. It's really disgusting what you can do to EotN char for example.

drain delusions works nice. With at least 10 inspiration, you get a net gain of 6 energy every 8ish seconds

Spec into Inspiration(6-8) and add Channeling, Power Drain, and/or Drain Enchantment. Drop Wastrel's Worry for Leech Signet. Or Auspicious Incantation + Deep Freeze.

This.
Hit a hostile caster with guilt, and either (or both, if you can spare the energy) WW and WD. It's almost certainly going to take damage from one or both of those spells, and when it tries to counter by using a skill, 9 times out of 10 it will be a spell that triggers guilt.

I wouldn't rely on Auspicious Incantation with Deep Freeze, that's something you'd do early on and not so much after when you might not even have the energy if you're having such trouble.

Thats what your high set is for ^
Run low...
switch to high set...
Cast AI>Deepfreeze...
Switch to casting set...
done!
So long as your not dipping your high set randomly, you will always have enough juice in highset, all be it temp on 2 pips...to cast and get back into your normal set..

Any mesmer with half a brain that's running domination magic MUST have mistrust in PvE.
running shutdown? Mistrust will definitely shutdown the next skill casters will use as well as screwing 150 hp out of them.
running Esurge? dont get me started. Nearby foes take the damage too.
running something close to frustration+rupts or some retarded build? Mistrust still fits in as it's not energy heavy.
yeah. Mistrust. And about worry, yes, you need channeling for it. pre-cast prot spirit on urself, get a shield set and go in. cast channeling, panic, mistrust, worry spam till ur fingers soak in blood, rinse n repeat until you have your GWAMM :P might b helpful to take something like power drain (might be tough in HM, use versus eles or orders necros) or auspicious incantation ( to use on second usage of panic if stuff wasnt dying, NOT on worry or stuff with fast recharge).
It's amazing how much people can discover just by reading the descriptions in english right? I think this explains why 70% of the pugs can't play. They can't read.(not referring to OP, just in case it might sound like it)
